The wet end of large paper machines requires precise control of the paper stock as it is laid on the wire. Normally several small valves are evenly spaced across the wire to ensure a uniform distribution of paper stock.

The IPT2 can be rack mounted for high-density installations in 5, 10 or 15 position racks that simplify air supply, filtering and regulation due to its backplane header design. The IPT2 includes a pneumatic closed loop feedback circuit for optimum control, has front mounted test leads to monitor the input and offers an optional front mounted pneumatic test jack.
