STZ Functional Safety HART Temperature Transmitter

The SIL 2/3 capable STZ Functional Safety Dual Input Smart HART® Temperature Transmitter is designed for your SIS (Safety Instrumented System). It configures quickly and easily to accept a single or dual input from a wide array of sensors and analog devices located in hazardous and nonhazardous areas. The STZ’s device intelligence features include Sensor Drift and Corrosion Detection, Smart Range Alarms, High-Availability option, and Input Simulation capability. To prevent unauthorized or accidental reconfiguration of the STZ temperature transmitter while it is performing its safety function, it includes an additional security feature that allows users to set HART communication to Read-Only or Off mode. The STZ has been certified by Exida for systematic integrity. This DIN-rail mount model is also available with the -AIS option, which does not require an intrinsically safe barrier.
