We recently had a sweet show up at the office, a King’s Cake from our wonderful rep company, BBP Sales, and it brought a little Mardi Gras magic straight to our Inside Sales team.
For those not familiar, King’s Cake is a traditional Mardi Gras treat with roots in the celebration of Epiphany, marking the arrival of the Three Kings. The cake is typically decorated in the iconic Mardi Gras colors of purple, green, and gold, symbolizing justice, faith, and power, and it’s a staple of the season leading up to Fat Tuesday.
One of the most fun traditions of a King’s Cake is the tiny baby hidden inside. Finding the baby is said to bring good luck, and in many celebrations, it also means the finder is crowned “king” or is responsible for bringing the next cake. This time around, Sergio was the lucky one who found the baby, earning bragging rights and plenty of laughs from the team.
Most importantly, everyone enjoyed sharing the cake; it was a great moment of team connection and a tasty break in the day. A big thank you to BBP Sales for the thoughtful gesture and for helping us celebrate Mardi Gras in such a memorable (and delicious) way!
