The SB meets standards for enclosing indoor and outdoor electronic instruments approved for use in explosion-proof/flameproof, dust-ignition proof, and intrinsically-safe locations.

The SB field mount, explosion proof/flameproof instrument housing is non-corrosive stainless steel 316, electro polished and passivated that meets NEMA 4X and IP66 ratings and is designed for highly corrosive environments such as offshore platforms and chemical facilities. Available with a solid metal or a glass cover, it is perfectly suited for instruments with or without a display. The SB housing has two metric or NPT conduit side entry ports. Choose from 2 or 3-hub configurations that include combinations of M20, ½-inch and ¾-inch NPT ports.
