For all units, these self-extracting files allow you to perform all set-up and configuration functions from a PC. They are compatible with Windows 95 (except the NCS-MIM), 98 (except the NCS-MIM), NT, 2000 and XP.
For Models FDY, PSD, SDY, SIY, SPD, TDY, TRX, TRY and T2X, a Moore Industries Configuration Cable for 2-Wire (Loop-Powered) units is required to connect the instrument with the PC. A Revision D cable or later is required for the PSD. The CPA, CPT, HCS, HIM, NCS-MIM, SPA2 and TMZ use a Moore Industries Configuration Cable for 4-Wire (Line/Mains-Powered) units. Consult the factory for details.
Models TDZ and THZ, as with all HART-programmable instruments, require a HART-to-RS232 Interface Cable with HART Modem for communication between the instrument and a PC.
The configuration software is backward-compatible with all versions of the instruments. However, set-up options that have been added to enhance unit performance since introduction may not have been available at the time your units were purchased. Unavailable options will appear as "grayed out".
